Action Climbing Skillshare with Skovmagt!

Come join 3 days of interactive skillshares in the Orekrog forest occupation.
In this skillshare you will learn everything needed (and much more) to be able to defend the forest with us, as well as getting equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to take part in future climbing actions.

The Program

Friday the 12th

All day: Arrival
18.30: Check-in, introduction to the forest and skillshare weekend.
19.00: Dinner
20.00: Knot workshop

Saturday the 13th

10.00: Breakfast
11.00: Morning round
12.00: introduction to Tree climbing basics (Getting up and down the rope)
15.30: Introduction to cowtails and how they function
16.00: Introduction to traverses (How to use them and how to move around)
19.00: Dinner
20.00: Understanding climbing gear and its limits.

Sunday the 14th

10.00: Breakfast
11.00: Morning round
12.00: Introduction to cowtail climbing
16.00: Introduction to rescue climbing.
19.00: Dinner

Practical

How to get there: The closes train station is Knabstrup. From there its a 20 minutes walk. Coordinates are: 55.656909, 11.552753.
Sleeping spaces: Make sure to bring a tent for sleeping. If you are not able to do that, reach out to us on instagram @skovmagt
We also have a limited amount of sleeping spaces on our kitchen platform, which is accessible with a ladder.
